HaruMura

Possibly the most world-wide known contemporary author there is. Murakami Haruki seriously is a 'kami' ('god' in Japanese). His stories are always very obscure and mysterious with mundane to eccentric plots. There's a wide range of genres that he covers in every single novel: romance, sarcastic comedy, sex, violence, sex, fantasy, and yes, sex. And I'm just a sucker for all of those. Not that I'm a sex maniac but, it's the way he writes them in such a poetic manner rather than some raunchy Cosmopolitan article (I do get a good laugh out of reading those nonetheless). Recently finished reading "Kafka On the Shore" for my second time and I'm still at a lost. My boyfriend and I were analyzing the story last night but couldn't come to any conclusions as to the identities of each character. Any help? :3

I read my first Haruki Murakami book a while ago. The Dark I think it was called? Absolutely brilliant! Starnge but amazing. My Dad loves him though, thinks he's brilliant. And don't worry, my layout's done that as well, is there any way to centre the pictures using the blogger Design template? xxx

I think I already commented back but your comment on my skin really made me smile! I used to have such bad skin when I was a teenager. Also, I actually wanted to be Japanese when I was younger...so I'm in awe of you too!

Red lipstick-wise, I would definitely go for MAC!

Mm~ I've only read Norwegian Wood which my grandmother sent over. I though it was good so I was thinking of asking her to send me over a few sometime this month. Do you have any recommendations? I was thinking of After Dark & Kafka on the shore?

Would you recommend Kafka on the shore?^^
I almost bought it, but the story seemed to be very abstract and confusing and I wasn't sure if I could wrap my head around that.
Then I bought The Plague by Albert Camus, completely different stuff XDDD!

Maybe I should give it a try :3

I do recommend it! Even though as you said, it's very abstract and confusing. But he writes beautifully :)
