Fighting bad skin.

Acne, blackheads, visible pores, oily skin. I've experienced and am currently experiencing them all.

I've always had bad skin.

I have no idea what causes it or of any real cure. There are many times where I've considered consulting with a dermatologist but I just never had the money to go. I heard it costs big bucks. Although, it's only the skin on my face. I've actually been told that I have baby soft skin (by my boyfriend *blushes*). It all comes with intense scrubbing in the shower followed by body lotion after my bath. I just wish my face was like a baby's bottom! I always admire my niece's (she's 3) complexion and how bright and smooth it looks.

Proactiv never worked for me.
Nor did acne creams.
Or just anything that says it cures acne.

My complexion has been clearing up recently, though, after hearing from my co-worker that bananas are one of the sources of acne.

Evil.

I guess it's because it contains more nutrients that are needed for you body. She heard this from a really famous dermatologist so I decided to take her advice and started going cold turkey on the bananas. Before, I would eat two a day because I was on that banana diet where you only eat bananas and drink warm water for breakfast. That diet worked, but I did notice my complexion changing. I've been off that diet for about 2 weeks now and I can see the difference. I'm not breaking out as much but there goes my diet. :(

Along with this, I've also been taking Chocola BB which are quite popular these days.

They're basically nutrient tablets you take twice a day. It supposedly treats your skin troubles, including acne by whitening blemishes and brown spots. If you want to know more about it and what kind of nutrients are in it, go here: http://www.eisai.co.jp/enews/enews200808.html

They also have bottled drinks to replace it.

So far, I would say that it's working quite well. Haven't broken out since taking it but then again, my period hasn't come yet so we'll see what happens then.

I'm leaving for a business SLASH Golden Week vacation Hawaii this Friday so, I doubt I'll have time to post anything. :( Btw, "Golden Week" is the only week of the year that we--business workers and students--get a REAL vacation. The ticket prices double--no, triple during this time of year. Thank goodness my boss is paying for it.

Can't wait to see my loved ones, especially rilakkuma and my boy boy!

Be back on the 19th of May!

Have a great trip and that's odd about the bananas. I've never had any trouble there myself, but it's an interesting thought. Maybe you're allergic to the bananas? Thanks for your comment too! xxx

I don't eat bananas so what's my body's explanation for all these blackheads? I think my face just hates me haha!

Oh those ChocolaBBs look interesting, I might try them. But I'm on acne medication so I have to be careful not to get a bad reaction.

Thank you very much for all your kind comments! I received your mail, and I will send you a reply today^^

I thought I was over my acne/dry skin/etc stage but last year I started to break out again. So sad D: I wish I knew the cure! I don't even eat bananas so I can't blame them. I do want to try that banana diet though... so only bananas and water?

Maybe try this? I don't know if you've seen Karen lately, but her skin really does look great.

I think it would be good to make your own, but it's a lot of work to blend it all up every day. Maybe just make a salad with all the same ingredients? That could help with your regular diet too!
